Router upgrade
I want to upgrade from our C3700, we are a Mac home, have cut the cable cord so stream or download all our entertainment, can anyone reccomend a netgear model to upgrade to? I don't know a lot about ...

That is a very loaded question.
How many devices are you trying to support?
What sized area are you trying to cover?
Prefer an all in one device or modem/router separate (what I'd recommend)?
From what you've said, you're cutting the cable cord and going with streaming services. I don't know the size of your house but I'm a fan of the Orbi setups because of their great coverage and consistently. Much nicer with streaming services to have the consistent speeds. its kind of an expensive buy in but worth it versus an expensive single router that is blazing fast in the area that it occupies but struggles past that zone .

Thanks, I realy don't use wifi much, the whole house is ethernet wired, We have two computers, two smart phones and two streaming devises.

Are you wanting to keep a modem/router combo unit or separate and get a stand alone modem and external wifi router?
If a modem/router combo, the C7800 is a nice unit.
If you want to separate, the CM1000 modem and a R7000 router would be a good combination to review.
