Setting Up VPN at Home C7000v2
I am wanting to create a home VPN to use while traveling. My ISP is comcast and I use my own Modem/router rather than renting their unit. I have been using the Netgear C7000v2 router for several years and it works without issue, so I have no reason to change, at least yet.
Is it possible to plugin a 'VPN Router' into my existing C7000 router, (a dual-router configuration), to create a VPN to use while away from home?

The basic answer to your question is no.
However, you should be able to enable and configure the OpenVPN server feature on your existing C7000v2. Once done, you would install the Open VPN client software on the devices you travel with to connect back to your home network.
