Hi Antinode,
Thank you for your reply and sorry for confusing.
I connected to AM6, nighthawk wifi router connecting to C3700 and it improved my speed from 20mbps to 30mbps.
ISP is Xfinity and use 200mbps service. they told me that their service is nothing wrong and suggest me to change to modem since it is 4 years old.
Yesterday I switched to CM1100 and connecting to AM6 and speed improved to 45mbps.
However, ISP said my service should go more than 100mbps.
4 members in household are constantly using internet.
is there way to improve the speed ?
Thanks!!!

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Speed test with a wired PC directly connected to the CM modem with out any wifi router connected. Takes maybe 10 minutes max to do this. Then put the wifi router back.
