Slow internet CM700 Modem

Hello there.  I'm having some issues with my internet speed here at home and want to make sure i'm chasing the right problem.  I've called my ISP, Suddenlink, about slow speeds and keep getting told ...

    Everything is not right. 

    Your power levels are out of spec, your have a ton of errors, and your channels aren't all locking. 

    Check your line for kinks, damage, bad/old/cheap/corroded connections and replace them if you have them. 

    Remove any splitters or signal attuators from your line. 

    Preferably move the modem to right where the line comes into the home to avoid lines inside the home being the issue. 

    If none of this helps, then the ISP needs to check the line.
