Slow Internet Connection every morning

I have a 1 yr old CG3000Dv210 router/modem. I have Time Warner CAble 30MBPS internet service. It seems most every morning, the download speed is less than half of what it should be.(Using Speetest.net) The only remedy I find is to power cycle the router, then it is fine for the rest of the day. Time Warner has not not been able to help. Any ideas?

    Hello RW3

     

    This could be a couple things are you only losing speed in the morning and its fine the rest of the day? if so this could a be a utilization issue in the area which takes time to fix by the ISP. THe other thing you could check is if you have a cable splitter that the modem is connected to if so try removing that splitter and go directly to the wall see if that improves the connection. Also you may want to contact TWC again ask to speak to level 3 or Tier 3 they are the technical group that can run better tests on the modem to see what the issue might be also go to call when your having the issue they cant really look back when its happening.
