Slow Wifi speed C6250-100NAS

I recently started using Express VPN.  I cannot maintain a VPN connection with WMM  enabled.  However, without it enable my wifi speed tests drop about 85% (VPN disabled).  From what I understand, WMM is some form of predefined QoS settings (correct me if I am wrong).  Are there any solutions for this on my current router?

    Your C6250 is a combination cable modem and Wi-Fi router device.  For C series devices, the firmware is controlled by your internet service provider.  So no options for change there.

     

    You would have to ask for assistance from Express VPN relative to connections with/without WMM enabled.
