slow wifi/fast wired c7000

Well, i tried to post something already but i guess it got lost on the way to account creation. sorry if this seems short. second time ive had to type it.

wired (download) sits just below 100 Mbit/s (i think my pc doesnt have a gbit ethernet port.) wifi doesnt get over 40. up speeds are comparable. we are suscribed to 200 mbit/s service from comcast (so the wired is probably faster, but my pc cant go that fast). default settings on the router. tested across multiple devices. all speeds according to ookla. both frequencies are experiencing this problem.

any suggestions? I already tried playing with the mtu value (only made it worse) and changing to a less crowded channel (didnt help).
