Solid amber light upstream
The upstream light has been amber for a while, but I am still able to use the internet seemily fine. I have tried resetting the modem router, called Xfinity with no help (no technician has come to ch...
I'd remove any splitters, amplifiers, or attenuators in your coax line.
Its blinking red because you only have 1 locked upstream channel. And its running a bit hot (to high of power). I'm a bit surprised the internet connection is working with that high of power levels on the upstream.
So try removing the filter and any other devices in the coax line.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
