Speed of WiFi access for Netgear C3000 Cablel Modem Router

 

I have a xfinity 75Mbps Internet connection. The cabel modem/router I am using is Netgear C3000. Unfirtunately when I access the internet via Wifi I get only upto 10Mbps. But if I connect the ethernet cable from the router to the device (computer) I get the full 75Mbps speed. Is there anyway for me to increase the WiFi speed?

    Hello raghavendrambk

     

    The first thing I would try is changing your wireless channel in the wireless settings of the modem and play around with that see if any channel gets better speeds. Also if you have a android device we have a app called Netgear wifi analytics this will tell you what is the best wireless channel to use.
