SSL or TLS on a CM1000?
Howdy, team. I can't log into my CM1000 using https, nor can I find mention of it supporting either SSL or TLS. Am I whistling past the graveyard, and it does indeed not support it? If not ...

Just use HTTP.
Strange, every other one of my Netgear devices accepts https. Why not my Netgear cable modem?

My modems don't accept HTTPS either.

Gotcha, but wondering why? Everything else I have from Netgear does.
And wondering if I'm just suffering from a shortage of talent (quite common in my case), and missing how to get in via https...

Nobody knows. In most cases HTTPS isn't really needed. Its a LAN side access point. Unless you have someone doing nefarious things on the LAN side, kind of useless to have something that gets only used when accessing the UI from the LAN side.

which router device have you seen with HTTPS LAN side support?

I am able to log into the LAN side of my Nighthawk AX12 RAX120 across https. In addition, my GS728TPP has mild routing capability, and I am able to log into the LAN side of it across https. Further, I'm able to log into the Ethernet port on all of my WAC730s across https.
I don't see the point in limiting secure connections to only ports exposed to the woolly wild Internet. If https is overkill on LAN ports, why offer it at all there?
