Support Help: I have a netgear router C6300 and I am having problems signing in.
I already called netgear support but I am no longer covered for tech support. (it will help if the next part is read in Kevin's voice from The Office) Here is problem as it happen. I needed to login new device to my wifi. Forgot wifi passwords, no problem I will login to router to view passwords. Started to login, login did not work, kept trying again over and over again. I stop remembered I download router app. I am very smart I think to myself. I will login from saved router login password on phone app. Could not login either. Router asked to retrieve password with serial number, entered serial number. Router said it was wrong, entered again, wrong again. Oh no, I'm mad. Problem, decided to reset router. Waited for reboot, entered new information including new router password. Prompted to enter new password, entered new password, did not work. Tired again and turned off router. Still did not work. 2 hours and could not fix. NEED HELP PLEASE :) I am not that smart.

Wire connect a PC to the router and factory reset the modem using the back push pin button for 15 seconds. Walk thru the setup wizard. This time write down all important information for safe keeping later on.
