If you have tried holding the reset button for 10 seconds and still get the power light as red then it may be bricked. I would suggest contacting support if your modem is still under warranty.

Thanks for the reply... Yes i tried everything to reset the modem, holding the button down for up to 30 seconds, plugging it in while holding it down, etc. I contacted Netgear support, and he seemed to think he could fix it, but since it is out of support, it would cost $90 which I didn't think was worth it. Mainly I was wondering if anyone else had an idea how to reset it, but I think you are right I'd say it is bricked at this point.
