tablet connects via wifi but disconnects after 1 second

Hi,  no problems for months but then suddenly my Lenovo tablet won't connect for longer than 1 second. This is the only network this happens on and only device that fails on this network.  It is suddenly asking for the password having not needed it for months.  Password is recognised and 'obtaining IP address' message displays.  It connects and then almost imediately drops it and merely says the network is available - but asks for password again.

 

Any clues please?

    Do you, perhaps, have MAC address Access Control enabled on your router?  If you do and your computer's MAC address is not on the whitelist, then your computer will be unable to obtain an IP address.
