Think C3700-100NAS Router is Blocking FileZilla FTP Service

Hello.

Netgear C3700-100NAS firmware 2.02.18

Win 11 Pro

I am trying to use Filezilla FTP. I been following all the directions online I can find and I seem to keep setting it up the same way over and over again but I can not get it connected. People say to check my router. But from my understanding, port 21 should be open.

I am using an address from No-IP with an IP updater, as I plan to use my VPN (if that allows FTP) once I can just get it to work with my local IP.

FireZilla is in Window$ Firewall. No other firewall or antivirus, just Window$.

Using ftptest.net, it fails with:

Timeouts are usually caused by some router and/or firewall that is interrupting the connection.

Try uninstalling all firewalls and plug your computer directly into your modem, thus bypassing the router.

The only things I can find in the router for FTP is a direct USB connection. I do not want to play with that because I am using a certain folder from my drives.

I looked at FTP port forwarding, but I do not know what it wants for an internal address for Filezilla to work which I want it to use an external DNS address.

Being this is a router/modem combo, I can not just pull out the router and bypass it for testing.

Am hoping maybe someone can just guide me a bit. Think I hitting an overload here. I been at this for days and I am probably missing the most obvious thing. If you need any other information, let me know. If you got some helpful suggestions, thank you. Since only one image is allowed, guess sending the several screenshots I took be futile, but I can add them in Mediafire if needed.

Nothing they will do unless I can prove the router is not the issue. Which is why I came here to ask for help with router settings/checks from other FTP users.
