Troubleshooting Netgear CG3000D
Hi everyone,
I purchased Netgear CG3000D wifi router and when I connect it to network it asks for security key (?). I did factory reset, then tried to go to the browser to 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, routerlogin.net but it asks for user name and password. So I enter "admin" as a user name and "password" as a password but it says authentication failed and asks me to enter it again.
Why factory reset doesn't go through? Or why admin/password don't work to login to website to reset the password?
Help, please!
Thanks!

The cg3000d is a cable modem and may need the cable company the connect to from their end check with them.
