Unable to access Netgear Genie webpage after about a day of uptime
I recently switched my modem to a C7000v2 and it works fine for about a day. I'll reboot it around dinner time and I'm able to log in to the Netgear Genie management page just fine. But the next day...

Okay I feel like I should clarify some things.
Yeah, I'm not at all worried about using the app honestly. That's half the reason I got a different one from the xfinity provided one (I hated the some things where controlled in an app and other things were done through a web interface)
My R8000 is already in wireless AP mode and hooked up just as pictured (found on the web management page for the R8000). I'm going to rule out using the C7000v2 as modem only do to the fact that it provides wireless in the house while the R8000 provides wireless to the garage. Also, my issue is not with the R8000, its with the fact that after a period of time, I'm simply unable to load the web interface for the C7000v2. Even if I hard wire to the modem, I'm unable to get the web UI to load until I've rebooted the modem.

In your original post you stated "... all documentation tells me to use the Nighthawk app...but that app doesn't detect this modem/router", so what mobile application are you using to communicate with your C7000v2?
What is the firmware version that is installed on your C7000v2?
What device/web browser combination are you using to try to connect to the user interface?

I'm not using any app. Like I said, it doesn't connect to the modem. And I don't care to use an app. That's a side issue.
I've used all combinations of windows, linux, android with firefox, chrome, edge
It seems more like the web UI server goes down after a bit, because I still have internet connection and I can still ping the modem. And I'm on firmware V1.03.08 which is the latest allowed by comcast

I misread your previous post about the mobile application.
For testing, have you tried setting the gateway IP address to something other than 10.0.0.1? Maybe something simple like 10.0.0.2 that does not create a conflict. Then use that address in your browser to access the user interface?

I'm not seeing how there is any conflict currently... 10.0.0.1 is my default gateway. It is the ip address for the C7000v2. It doesn't matter what the ip address is set to, I'm typing the correct address into the browser and the UI never loads.
I just changed the default gateway to 10.0.0.250. I'll let that run for the day until I get home from work and we'll see if anything chages.
