Unstable and Intermitting 5ghz Connection Issue

Hello everyone,

 

Ive been having some issue with our C7800 cable modem router. We were not having any issues before but lately its been happening more frequently

 

I have not updated the firmware since the 1st time I installed the modem/router

 

Issue is it will intermittingly disconnect 5ghz connection randomly. There are about 10 or more connected to the router including wifi cams. Cams are connected to 2.4. About a week or so it would only happen at night when there are a lot more people connected to it. So I thought the issue is with Xfinity so I called them. There were no issue on their side but to be on the safe side we upgraded to faster speeds to compensate the load it was good for about a day but went back to ramdomly being spotty and slow connection. But now it happens sometimes in the afternoon

 

Ive been looking around and seeing the same issue with no solution but threads were old so I am hoping by this time there is a solution now

 

Any suggestions or help will do
