Links go to NGs KB articles on how to update NG routers using the Nighthawk app.
I prefer to use a wired PC and download files and manually update myself.
what firmware version are you on?
Netgear sends out mass emails at times even if you're device is already updated.
so you can compare the version you're on to the latest one on the support site.
