i got a netgear cm500 to replace isp providers modem,called them had them do their thing and activate it,all lights green except upstream is solid red,since i waited 6 months before i hooked this thi...
also i figured out how to get to the logfile in modem and this is what i get to see,not sure why some of it shows yesterdays date and some is for 1-1-1970,none of this makes sense,and im not a computer guru,i just want this to work like its supposed to.

It looks like the modem is unable to connect to the ISP network. You will need to call your ISP. They may have to send a tech out to diagnose your line.
