Upstream Light on CM2000 Blinks Constantly
Just installed new CM2000 to replace an old CM1000. The installation through Xfinity went smoothly except for the fact that the Upstream light is constantly blinking. The old CM1000 never did this. T...

Just to let everyone know Xfinity tech came to house today and determined that the outside cable (been in the ground for 18 years) was damaged and replaced the cable. This resolved the issue as internet now works properly.

I also noticed that I now get a send/receive error in my Outlook email although the mail comes through and Outlook shows as being connected.

Just reinstalled CM2000 and noticed that when I turned on the modem I noticed that after the downstream light turned solid white the upstream light came on as a solid white then as the online light turned solid white the upstream light started blinking.
