Upstreams unlocked
I bought this modem about 2 weeks ago. Most of the time it works as advertised. However, I do get an Amber light for upstreams. My downloads are what they should be. The modem also restarted a couple of times.
As the pic attached shows, all my upstreams are unlocked except one. What does this mean? Do they all have to be locked in order for the modem to function properly? Is this normal? Are there any fixes?
The modem is connected by way of a splitter. The other end goes to my cable box. So there is nothing I can do to change the configuration. I did try to connect the cable directly to the modem. But I still get an Amber light. What else could be causing it and if it can't be fixed can I depend on the modem to work continually.
