USB port cg3000d and External Hard Drive

Question

Just wondering if my CG3000D is capable of working with my Seagate FreeAgent Go 1TB. I followed the instructions for Macs for ReadyShare but, I don't think this model is a "ReadyShare" product. Any help is appreciated!
