Using AC1200 C6220 as an Access Point

• CONNECTIONS IS LIKE THIS:
• Computer A -> PHYSICAL LINK -> C6220 ACCESS POINT -> PHYSICAL LINK -> modem/router Arris -> COAXIAL CABLE ISP

I have connected this modem/router C6220 ACCESS POINT to my modem/router Arris (that is connected to the internet via Coaxial).

Wireless devices (Wireless Laptop) connected to my modem/router C6220 ACCESS POINT function correctly. They have valid IPv4 addresses within the DHCP range I set (2-249) per your instructions, and can access the 192.168.0.1 settings of my modem/router Arris. These wireless devices can also access 192.168.0.250.

Only problem is, when I physically connect my Computer A to the modem/router C6220 ACCESS POINT, it assigns my IPV4 as my external IP address, starts with 71.bla.bla.bla  (seen from ipconfig). It is as if my Computer A is connected to a "DMZ."I can access the internet from Computer A, however I cannot access anything in the local network.

From my Computer A, I cannot access the local network. So from Computer A , I cannot access 192.168.0.1 or [...].250.

Whereas when I connect through wifi from a Wireless Laptop, to my modem/router C6220 ACCESS POINT . With the Wireless Laptop I can connect to the internet, with no hiccups. And I can also connect to the original modem/router Arris settings page. I can also connect to my modem/router C6220 ACCESS POINT via 192.168.0.250 from my Wireless Laptop.

ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS:

• I've tried solving this by changing my Computer A to static IPV4 settings in windows 10. I change it to 192.168.0.69 (within modem/router Arris 's DHCP range), and it could not connect to the internet, but it could connect to 192.168.0.250. It could not connect to 192.168.0.1 (modem/router Arris settings page).
• I've also tried solving this by changing my Computer A to static IPV4 settings in windows 10. I change it to 192.168.0.251      (outside modem/router Arris 's DHCP range), and it could not connect to the internet, but it could connect to 192.168.0.250. It could not connect to 192.168.0.1 (modem/router Arris settings page).
• I've tried reinstalling Network drivers of Computer A
• Tried connecting Wireless Laptop directly to the C6220 ACCESS POINT via Ethernet, and it still had a valid (same) ipv4 address it had before. So I think there's something wrong with my Computer A

Are there additional C6220 ACCESS POINT router settings I should configure for this to work?

How do I make it so that Computer A has a static IPv4 address where it can also connect to the internet?
