Using modem CM1000 with firmware V6.01.02 and Cox ISP?
I currently have a CM1000 and firmware V6.01.02 was deployed upon activation with my ISP, Comcast. I want to upgrade to a better modem and give my current CM1000 to a family member but they have Cox ...
Fingers crossed then that the newer firmware is compatible or that Cox can rollback the firmware.
I am upgrading to the CM1100 and am going to attempt to use link aggregation. If The CM1000 with firmware V6.01.02 will not work with Cox I will just send my family member the CM1100 and keep the CM1000.
What router are you using with the link aggregation?
Check through some of the forum posts. Not everyone has issues but if you do have issues with the link aggregation, there's quite a few posts with tips/tricks for getting it running better.
I am actually going to try it with pfsense on a computer I have laying around.
