Voice Not Available on CM2025V Cable Modem

My old cable modem quite working and I replaced it 1/30/2024 with the Netgear Nighthawk CM2050V yeaterday.  After Comcast/Xfinityh activated it the modem says voice not available.  Xfinity shows everything OK on their end - ive had Xfinity service for 3 years with same phone number.

 

I have a  Panasonic KX-TGF780 Phone that was working on the prior Arris Surfboard Cable Modem that stoped working.

    Most cased the ISP will need to have a tech come out and check for connections for the phone system.

    The ISP need to ensure the signal and phone support signal is good and working up to the modem and check any phone line cabling connected to the modem is in working order and make sure the phone service is active on the line.

      The phone service was working fine the day before on the Arris Surfboard (which the mother board fried).  The TN is provisioned and everything working on Comcast side.

        The activation/provisioning of your modem to your Xfinity account was not correctly done.  Maybe the individual who did the provisioning did not have the check box marked for phone service.  Xfinity technical support is your only source of remedy.  If you do not have the patience to go through phone support, maybe an Xfinity technician on site may have better success.
