Vuezone support and service stopping in Aug 2019
Netgear is stopping all support and cloud service for the vuezone cameras in August 2019.
The cloud is a paid subscription service. ARlo has replaced vuezone. Netgear suggests you throw cameras in the trash. They are offering a 50% discount on a first generation Arlo system of just 2 cameras. There are 4 generations of Arlo cameras.
Netgear's deal is unfair and cost most owners of vuezone hundreds of dollars. This shows their lack of commitment to the user base.
if you are in the market for home wireless cameras, go with anyone else!

Netgear/Arlo isn't the first comany to stop supporting legacy devices. Look at Revolv smart home/Lowe's Iris/etc. its an unfortunate risk that devices aren't/can't be supported forever.

Understand that devices outdate. However the offer of a first generation Arlo system, and only offering 2 inferior cameras, is not fair. I personally have 2 systems with a total of 20 cameras. Netgear was fine with charging you for 20 cameras on the cloud , but when you have to buy new, they max out at 2. They should have offered the same number of camera and given you an option of Arlo pro or Arlo pro 2 as well.

You would be better served by posting about this in the Arlo or camera forum section.
- Gomer99AspirantCould not find Arlo forum and vuezone forum not accepting new discussions. Does anyone know the camera forum?
