Warranty
So I purchased this in May off of amazon to take away the rental equipment fees from xfinity. Has worked great up until now. I cannot connect to my phone or ps4. My boyfriend called xfinity which the internet bill is under and than everything checked out ok on their end than directed him to net gear. They basically told us we needed to renew our warranty on the product. Makes no sense to me. I've looked over every single detail on Amazon and even on net gear website and there is nothing that states to pay money for renewal. Now I'm stuck with this product that is basically useless??

No much help here.
What NG product and model# are you referring too?
- Cj48060AspirantHello, I'm sorry I guess I failed to mention the actual product. I'm new to this. But it's a AC1750 WiFi Cable Modem Router (C6300v2) if that helps, thank you kindly.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.
