What would you recommend? My Netgear c3700 is not working well. I believe it’s lived it’s life.

So a couple questions.
what speeds are you paying for and wanting? the C3700 is good roughly to 100mbps
How much area are you trying to cover? That and budget is going to be a key points with any router.
What issues are you having? The C3700 isn't the fastest wireless device or faster internet service device but depending on your usage, troubleshooting might not be a bad idea. Especially if its a modem/line issue and not a router issue.

Thanks, I've done all of the troubleshooting and so has my ISP. I've decided to bite the bullet and go with the Orbi mesh system. It's what the layout of my house requires.

Good luck with the orbi setup. I have an Orbi and appreciate how well it works and how much area it covers.

I would go with a CM series modem only unit then connect up your Orbi MESH system. If you want to review the CBK40, this is Orbi with a build in modem. I would recommend getting a modem only unit separately however.
