Why did Netgear stop allowing users to see unerrored codewords?

Just a simple question as to why current Netgear modems does not have this feature. It would seem even Arris has done the same thing. I remember the SB6121 counting them up all the time as well. I also know this isnt nothing to worry about but the UI should have the feature. So in theory all they need to do is put code into firmware to enable them. They at times would be fun to watch continuously climb.
