Are you connecting directly with the modem or is there a wifi router in between?

The modem is connected to the cable internet service. I have a Netgear router connected to the Modem.

What model router is the NG router?
Would need to remove the NG router and see if a wired PC connected to the CM modem directly with out the NG router online to see if the problem still happens.
