       Ask CenturyLink?

Assuming that that's a question about CenturyLink DSL service, ...

Good judgement?  Netgear seems to have lost interest in DSL, and
CenturyLink often uses a feature which no Netgear DSL modem or
    modem+router supports:

EOL models like the D7000[v1] (which I use) or D7000v2 (about which
I've read) have enough firmware bugs to discourage anyone who does a
    little testing.

Most ISP don't recommend wifi routers as most have there own modems with routers and wifi built in that ISP want there customers to use.
