Hello Burty2010
When you say partially working what are you talking about can you describe the issues you are having with the modem. Hope to hear your feedback.

My broadband connectivity continually drops out, finally disconnecting and providing no internet capability. My IP say the signal reaches my home but the modem appears to be the cause of the dropouts. When viewing Genie my three NETGEAR products are listed with only the modem listed as partially connected, the wifi adapter and wifi extender operation have been discontinued. What do I need to do to remedy the products to be fully operational?

I would first check your connections to the modem do you have a cable splitter that is on the cable line attached to the modem I would try to remove that to see if the modem gets better connection. You may also want to do a factory reset on the modem and set everything up again. and if the modem is still having issues you can contact netgear phone support if the modem is still under warranty.

I am going to have an electrician inspect the Telstra connection to the modem. You did not answer my question regarding products out of warranty as I do not intend throwing them out. The modem, extender and adapter are no longer showing up in the Genie display. Why? I may have to research other brands who supply support for their products.
