Wi-Fi No Longer Broadcasts

• Is the power LED as it should be? If it isn't white you may have broken firmware.
• Is the WiFi LED/button pressed?

Note that there are two sets of firmware on these cable modem/routers. The modem bit is beyond your (and Netgear's) control. You can update the router bit.

Does the router bit allow automatic unattended updates? Or did you tell it to go and get an update?

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
