Wifi name wont display

Please help! I have a N3000 Wifi Cable Modem Router to use my wifi with Xfinity. The wifi name wont show up when I try to join. I've called Xfinity and they say that it shows that everything is set up correctly and that they don't know what is wrong. I just got this new Modem/Router because my previous one stopped working - ends up it wasn't the machine but something else! 

 

Any thoughts?

    Do you mean the C3000 listed in your footer? Does Netgear still sell that? It dates back to 2014. I can't see it in the product pages.

    Won't show on what? What does the wifi LED look like?
