WiFi Router compatibility

Hi there,

 

I'm thinking about switching internet provider to fiber and I wonder if my C7000v2 wifi router is compatible with 1G speed and the optical network device that will be installed at home.  Can anyone help with?

    It can handle 1 Gbps speeds just fine. As for compatibility, since we don't know the ONT's model, it's hard to guess in advance.

    Cable modems and Cable modem gateways are NOT compatible with ONT ISP services. Only ONT devices are compatible. Ask the ISP about there requirements and what is compatible.
