Wifi USB Adapter Model A7000

I used to be able to connect to my NETGEAR 5G network but after installing a PSU of the exact same modle of one that got fried in a storm i am unable to detect the 5g network. ive called Customer support 4 times to no avail. There is no damage to my router/modem combo nor the wirelesss adapter

       You determined this how, exactly?  Have you tried using the adapter
    on some other system?  Have you tried using another adapter on this
    system?

     

       If the power supply got "fried in a storm", then I wouldn't bet on
    any particular device in that system coming through unscathed.
