Will having too much bandwidth effect my C7000v2 performance
I have a C7000v2 modem/router that seems to under preforming. My internet provider told me that I have 1000 gig internet plan and that my router can only handle 600G. I'm I screwed??
No, you're not screwed. The modem will perform as well as it can but if the isp is trying to parition it for 1 gig service, it could potentially cause issues because 1gig relies on the docsis 3.1 setup and the C7000 doesn't have it.
What speeds are you getting hardwired?
Did it have issues prior to the upgrade?
What site are you testing on?
