Will modem still work at slow internet speeds 200mbps , 500 mbps?
Like to know if there is a problem with my CM2000 modem running at vary slow internet speeds

The CM2000 is a DOCSS 3.1 cable modem which is capable of speeds up to 2.5Gbps and is compatible with DOCSIS 3.0 speeds. Whatever speed Cox, Spectrum, or Xfinity provide, this modem can deliver.
I have a suspicion that there is a concern that the modem is not delivering the speed that has been contracted for. Is that the question? If so, more information is needed:
- What is the promised speed?
- What speed is being delivered?
- What Orbi router is this modem connected to?
Do you subscribe to a lower speed plan and are wondering if it'll work with it?
Or subscribe to a higher plan on wondering why its slow?
