wireless router C6220

My wifi stopped working even after restarting about 3 times and also disconnecting.  When I talked to someone from Netgear she said my model I bought in October 2018 needed to be updated.  Is it possible for me to update from here or do I need to have a representative with Netgear update.

    1. Combo devices aren't user updateable. 

    2. did you push and hold the wifi on/off button?
