Wont connect to amazon fire stick

The fire stick dose recognise rhe netgear wifi booster and i can select it ..but then a page on my tv pops up to join netgear and its blank and gives me no options ..so i go off the page ...and check network connections ..it says that the fire stick is connected with problems but wont let me access my shows as though its not connected
