X4s AC3200 C7800v2 wifi issues after Dish TV set up

After having Direct TV since its inception I switched to Dish TV. Since the installation i have had issues with wifi turning off and on several hundred times a day. i have reset the router, turned the power of/on several times, moved the router, moved the Dish TV modem, cried, prayed to the internet gods....what am i missing? i have called both Dish and my ISP several times and both deny any involvement. any suggestion would be helpful. also i have tried to update the firmware to the modem and that is not available for this mode.

Your Netgear C7800v2 is a combination cable modem/router.  As an end user, you are not provided an option to update the firmware.  Only the ISP can update the firmware on your device.  You can check to see what version of firmware you have on your device and then compare the version to the official Netgear list provided here:  https://kb.netgear.com/000036375/What-s-the-latest-firmware-version-of-my-NETGEAR-cable-modem-or-modem-router    If necessary, request your ISP update the firmware on your device.

What are you missing?  You have not provided any description of what piece is connected to what or how (coax cable, Ethernet cable, or Wi-Fi).  You have not provided any description of the radio frequency environment you are trying to operate Wi-Fi in.  Do any of your TV devices broadcast a Wi-Fi signal from their set top box?  Physically how close together are your C7800v2 and the TV set top boxes setting?  Do you have other Wi-Fi transmitters in the room?  Do you have neighbors close by that have Wi-Fi transmitters?

There are people on this board that will try to help, but they cannot do so with the description details you have provided.
