Xbox one connections
I just bought a new router a week ago, had my isp set it up but now every time I turn my xbox one on, it's not connected. It keeps saying "DNS not resolved" What can I do to fix this? Also what's t...
Try to change the DNS on the xbox
Xbox One:
- From the Xbox One home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings.)
- From there, enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4
- I tried that. I have to reset the modem every single time in order to get it to work. I've even got it set up on a static ip or a reserved ip and it's still having issues. Was it something the ISP did when they set it up?
