Xfinit and Product Model: C3700 internet speed issue

Hello

I have Product Model: C3700  with XFinity 150MB speed service but able to get only 30MB speed on the C3700 router on wifi. Xfinity tech support said I need to contact Netgear support. I called them no HELP from them. Xfinity says I need to rent the modem from them to get the 150MB speed.

Any one is getting over 100 MB spped on C3700 model?????

    came across same issue. seems like the c3700 can only handle upper 90s. hardwired through comcast/xfinity i got 94 and only 10 max on wifi. fricking garbage. when i was in a home only buying xfinity wth 75 mbps my net gear got me 80+ and wifi 30+  i dont understand this. but to get the 150 im 99% sure this modem wont reach that speed. but if i dowgrade my internet to 80 i have to drop xfinity channls which makes no sense. going to ook for the best modem on the market toavoid the ten dollar a month charge.
