D6400

I cannot get the icon for Netgear Genie to work now. What to do? I have tried looking for how to get it to work but I keep getting sent to some other site that seems to be about selling me something not Netgear..

    You refer to the genie. This could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?

     

    The D6400 is an old (2015) VDSL modem/router. Netgear killed the "mobile genie" for that some years ago.

     

    You don't need that to use your D6400. Explain what you are doing and somone might be able to help.
