Adding Powerline Adaptors

Hi All,

I am about to move from a house that I have taken the time to run CAT5 cables to all the areas I want reliable LAN access. I don't want to do this at my new house. I am interested in using the Netgear PL1000-100AUS which comes as a pair or adaptors, however I want 2-3 extra points throughout my new house. I can't seem to find anywhere to buy extra adaptors. Do I just buy another par and configure them to work with the original pair I buy? Or do I need to buy a specific type of adaptor to expand the network? And can I also add a  PLW1000-100AUS along with the PL1000-100AUS to also boost wifi throughout the house?

Any advice and help would be greatly apreciated.

That's the way to do it. Netgear, and most other makers, do not sell single plugs, only twin packs, and sometimes three-packs.

Here's how to get them all talking to each other:

    >>> Adding a powerline adapter to an existing powerline network <<<

And can I also add a  PLW1000-100AUS along with the PL1000-100AUS to also boost wifi throughout the house?

    That would work too.

You can also plug a wifi access point into the Ethernet output from a "remote" plug.
