Additional plugs for PLW1000
Can anyone tell me the procedure for adding an additional extender unit (the one with the two aerials) to the network? Do I have to ‘pair’ it somehow ?

Thanks for coming back to me - you are right, I had to buy another complete set with 2 units just in order to get the non-ethernet wired unit to place in another room.
Do I still follow the 'push the Security Buttons within 2 minutes' routine to add this unit to my wifi?

Yes, but a word of warning, I have seen reports here of people having problems putting two Powerline wifi access points on the same network.
I have never seen anything to suggest that you can't put two APs together, but one recent user ended up running two separate networks, with two plugs talking to the router.
By the way, your question really belongs in the Powerline bit of the forum rather than the "General WiFi Routers" section.
