I have exchanged the CPL1000 for CPL12000.
CPL1200 works.
CPL1000 is definitly not backward compatible.
Your attachment does not show any plug with a connection to your router.

Maybe not for you. But clithes is correct they all work to the AV standard and other people happily use them together.
Perhaps you just had a duff one.
I chip in only to warn people that this is a one-off report that they should treat with caution. There is no "definitely" about it.
