AV200 and LED light interference

Hi,

I have been working for days to fix my drop outs of the powerline extenders I have in my study - I traced it to an LED up-light that I've had for 2 years, so I assume the bulb is dying and sending out too much interference.

Just thought I'd pass it on in case it helps someone else !

What testing did you actually do?
most issues I've ran into with powerline extenders are from other devices. Usually something going bad on the powerline thats injecting intererence.

You're best bet is to put the powerline devices on the same circuit and test them. If they run decent, its usually not the powerline devices. Its not always true because whatever is going bad could really be causing issues, but its the easiest test.

But the AV200 is a pretty old device and old standards. Sadly, netgear really hasn't been in the powerline market much.
