Yes. And Netgear is not alone in this.
As Powerline uses an industry standard, you can buy any brand of plug that you like. It will work with the Netgear plugs. If you can't find something, then second hand is the way to go.
Thanks, michaelkenward, for your reply. I don't know why Netgear makes it hard to buy an individual plug? I wanted to purchase one, but I couldn't find anything on their Website. When I called them, the salesperson wasn't sure if they or anyone else sold Netgear individual plugs. If plugs are standard then I can find one from a different manufacturer hopefully. Thank you.

Good luck. I have never found them, except for wifi AP plugs.
