Cause of flashing red light

I am usingh a small network with four PL1200 units, one being the distributor.  All works fine except the Led keeps flashing green to red.  Anyone any idea what causes this. I keep dropping the Netfl...

I'm guessing here, there are three LEDs, but this is probably the "Pick a Plug" LED.

 

There is a manual for the PL1200 somewhere at the end of this ink:
